The name ‘Ten O Eight’ came from the importance of timing. In the wrist watch world, 10:08 is considered the perfect time because the hour and minute hands are perfectly balanced and everything is legible. If you look at most watch ads, you will often see 10:08. Similarly, we apply this outlook to our client work – accountable, balanced and strategic. In the insurance world, the best time to secure your insurability was yesterday. The second best time is today.

Joey grew up around small business owners and learned the importance of planning ahead. He watched as owners planned to work hard, build successful companies, build a strong team culture – and get stuck when life threw a curve ball. Disability, illness or death make it very difficult to run a business and many questions arise – who will run the operations? How will we service clients? What about our staff? What will happen to my family?
In addition to earning his Bachelor of Management (m. Entrepreneurship & Innovation) and earning the Group Benefits Associate designation, Joey is a lifelong learner. He plans to continue his formal education in the areas of tax minimization, estate planning and strategic philanthropy. Joey is a proud member of Advocis, School of Life Insurance Sales and a lifelong learner.
